Your Health is your Wealth - Workshop for our Friends and Clients

Description

Most of us work hard and diligently save for retirement to fully enjoy the fourth quarter of our lives, free from the constant stress related to a demanding job with a packed schedule. Just as financial planning requires intentional and consistent action, taking care of our health demands the same. Whatever your age, your daily actions make a big difference.

Lifestyle Medicine examines how sleep, stress management, substances, social connections, physical activity, and nutrition affect our physical, emotional, and cognitive health, and what you can do to prevent, and in some cases, reverse chronic diseases such as type 2 diabetes, cardiovascular disease, cancer, and dementia.

Want to spend your retirement visiting doctors or enjoying your best life? Please join us for a discussion on what you can do to align your health behaviors with your life goals.

  • Becoming your best self - taking the time to examine what you really want and if your current health trajectory is taking you in the direction you desire.
  • How sleep, stress management, social connections, and substances affect your health and simple strategies to set yourself up for success.
  • Physical activity and nutrition - advancing from knowledge to action. Simple isn’t always easy when it comes to making life changes.
