Michael V. Papa

Mike is the President of Papa Wealth Management. He was born in Manassas, Virginia, and studied finance at Old Dominion University.

For more than 30 years he has worked with people approaching retirement on the question most portfolios are not built to answer: how do you turn what you saved into a paycheck that lasts? His answer is the Next Phase Plan — a time-segmented approach designed around each household's actual income needs rather than a risk-tolerance score.

Mike lives in Colorado Springs with his wife Julie. They have three children — Gabriella, Katherine, and Kevin — and a granddaughter, Margot. He is a past board member of the Colorado Springs Fine Arts Center and the Mindfulness and Positivity Project. Outside the office he fishes, skis, rides the local trails, and plays with his dogs.
